For Butter's upcoming planned second litter we chose Ch. Meadowfarms Major Breakthrough, aka Major, as the sire. When I first met Major as just a young dog several years ago at the MCOA 2004 Tucson Specialty he took my breath away. Since then he has gone on to win countless awards, only some of which are: 2005 MCOA Grand Breeder's Cup Award winner, MCOA Gold health award, 2006 Best Bred-By-Exhibitor Mastiff Eukanuba National and the MCOA 2006 Grand Tournament of Mastiffs winner! Major is a magnificent representation of the Mastiff breed with giant bone, exceptional size, beautiful movement, excellent overall conformation and a temperament that personifies good nature. I am confident that bringing together Butter's and Major's pedigrees will produce exceptional puppies. Many of the all time top ranking and renowned U.S. champion Mastiffs can be found in their pedigrees.
