WisperTel offers “free” virus protection for its subscribers

WisperTel announces that it now provides virus protection for all of its subscribers. “New equipment and software now protects all of our users,” says Eric Tomaszewski, Director of Network Operations.

Tomaszewski said “We are now processing over 20,000 email messages and attachments per day and many of these are infected.” “We see a need to protect our subscribers so we implemented network level virus protection services.” Our new equipment can now scan over 100,000 emails and attachments per day without degrading speed to our subscribers.

This level of virus protection is provided free to all WisperTel subscribers. “It will not protect users 100%, but very close to that.”
