WisperTel Acquires Rocky Wave, LLC

WisperTel is now the largest wireless broadband access provider in Colorado

Evergreen, Colorado. Wisper Telecommunications, Inc., a provider of advanced fixed wireless Internet access services serving the Southwest Denver Metropolitan area has acquired RockyWave, LLC for cash and stock. RockyWave was operating several systems including several along the growing Highway 285 corridor also southwest of Denver. RockyWave brings these operating wireless systems to WisperTel with locations covering Arvada, Lakewood, Conifer and Bailey.

Barry Pier President/CEO of WisperTel stated, "The RockyWave acquisition allows us to expand more rapidly with coverage contiguous to ours." The combined wireless network immediately expands WisperTel coverage to over 1,000 square miles.

WisperTel is a fixed wireless broadband access provider building a carrier class network targeting communities not being served by other broadband access providers along Colorado's Front Range. WisperTel offers Internet Access services at 256 Kbps for $49.95/mo. and 512 Kbps access for $74.95/mo. This includes unlimited Internet access and two e-mail addresses. Installation is $124.95. Commercial high-capacity services are available supporting speeds up to 8 Mbps.
