North Table Mountain, Arvada sites now open for business
WisperTel announces that it has opened its new Arvada “Gateway” site. John Maxwell, Director of Field Operations said “We can now serve over 50 square miles from our Arvada site and over 200 square miles from our North Table Mountain site.” WisperTel will serve new subscribers in this area with its new “FOX” subscriber unit. This subscriber unit makes us significantly “Better than telephone company DSL and cable modem services.” WisperTel new “fixed wireless” technology can deliver both better response times and higher bandwidth capacity. Maxwell said “is is all part of the WisperTel northern expansion project.” “We already cover most of the Highway 285 corridor and now we are extending our coverage north.”
A balance of speed, reliability and affordability is what you want in an ISP. Fixed wireless technology is the ultimate in "always-on" high-speed Internet access. Utilizing a proprietary bi-directional direct sequence spread spectrum radio frequencies,
WisperTel can offer the same speed transmission each way up to 8 Mbps. This is not Wi-Fi or 802.11.
WisperTel service provides Internet access that does not depend on phone lines or cable systems and is not affected by weather, slow speeds at peak times, connectivity problems and high monthly fees.
