WisperTel Announces Broadband Services now Available in Evergreen, Colorado

Businesses and residents for the first time will have a broadband access provider.

Barry Pier, President/CEO of WisperTel announced today that services are now available in many communities in the South Jeffco area. Previously, only satellite solutions were available to users that need high-speed access to the Internet. WisperTel is a Wireless Internet Service ProvidER building a carrier class network targeting communities not being served by other broadband access providers along Colorado's Front Range.

Barry Pier, President and CEO brings his considerable wireless telecommunications experience as founder of WisperTel.Previously, Mr. Pier was with Vaultus Mobile Technologies, ReFlex Communications, Western Wireless (VoiceStream), Fluor Daniel, MCI and Advanced Radio Telecom (ART). Barry's strong operations background along with his senior management experience will enhance WisperTel's development. Mr. Pier states he plans to grow the company prudently, focusing on the bottom-line and not become another telecommunications casulity.

WisperTel services will be targeted to both commercial and residential users offering speeds of 256 Kbps to 8 Mbps. Mr. Pier said, now Small Office Home Office (SOHO) users and persons, who need to connect with corporate LANs and Virtual Private Networks, will be able to do so. Satellite providers do not support VPN connections. WisperTel represents a carrier class alternative to DSL and cable modem services.
