WisperTel announces Barry Pier, President/CEO has been selected to speak at the Broadband Wireless World Conference later this month. Barry will speak about WisperTel’s rapid growth in the Colorado market.

Many wireless operators can grow to a couple hundred subscribers but have problems “scaling” their business. Barry has been asked to address how WisperTel has “cracked the code” for the Residential Market as in 12 months they have over 1,000 subscribers, almost no subscriber churn and are weeks from cash flow breakeven.

To get this kind of “market traction” WisperTel has built its own network and offers speeds, prices and value-added features its competitors do not offer, Pier said. For example, WisperTel offers a 3 Mbps residential service (same speed both ways) for home office users for $124.95 per month. WisperTel also offers free virus protection and does not limit the sizes of the emails and attachments sent.
