WisperTel announces new market leading $34.95 monthly service plan
WisperTel announces its new price-leading service that will provide users significantly higher speeds than dial-up Internet access for the same price as dial-up. We are very excited about this service said Barry Pier, President/CEO. “We saw a need to provide Broadband services to dial-up users at price points better than what Qwest and Comcast offer.”
Telephone lines along with their associated taxes and fees cost about the same as our total monthly price. As WisperTel is the Internet Service Provider (ISP) there are no additional charges. Pier said, “this service is priced significantly less than any other service provider.”
To get something close to this price point with Qwest you have to have extra telephone lines with multiple features. Comcast does not offer a price point this low and they do not guarantee what speed users will get.
WisperTel guarantees its speeds in writing because it has its own network. By not using telephone company circuits WisperTel can offer higher speeds and more reliable services. WisperTel also offers free virus protection and does not limit the sizes of the e-mails and attachments sent. Other carriers limit the size of data files sent by users.
This service includes the cost of the WisperTel subscriber unit and the installation charge. The subscriber only needs to pay a $49.95 up-front activation charge.
