Summary of Sky Blue Lease Agreement for WisperTel Equipment

WisperTel has entered into an agreement with Sky Blue Leasing for subscribers who wish to rent or lease their equipment.

What is the difference between renting and leasing?
With the rental plan, you never own the equipment, but the commitment is only 12 months (after that it is month to month) and the monthly cost is lower. With the lease plan you have the option to purchase the equipment for $50 after the 35-month lease period, there is no up front payment but the monthly cost is higher.

The two plans also have the following differences:
Early cancellation penalty for the
rental plan is your unpaid service balance (the remainder of the original 12 months) up to a maximum of $200.

  • Early cancellation penalties for the lease plan depend on the date when cancelled:
    • $75 from month 25-35
    • $100 from month 13-24
    • Up to $325 during the first 12 months
  • The Rental plan requires an up front payment of $124.95 for
    installation.
  • The Lease plan requires NO up front payment other than the first
    month's service--installation is included.

Each Lease and Rental Agreement includes Extended Warranty and Hazard Coverage.
